About WLBT

What is WLBT?

WLBT is a South African business network for serious owners, leaders, and professionals who want trusted relationships, accountability, and practical business growth.

Who is WLBT for?

WLBT is for business people who value consistency, professionalism, contribution, and long-term relationships rather than casual networking or quick selling.

Is WLBT a casual networking group?

No. WLBT is standards-led. The room works best when members show up, contribute, and build credibility over time.

Joining WLBT

How do I apply to join WLBT?

Complete the Join WLBT application. The application helps WLBT understand your business, your fit, and the next conversation required.

Is membership automatically approved?

No. Applications may be reviewed before approval so the quality of the room, member fit, and long-term trust are protected.

What happens after I apply?

WLBT reviews the application and may follow up for clarity, next steps, or a conversation before approval is confirmed.

Can any business join?

WLBT is open to suitable businesses and professionals, but fit matters. Members should be able to contribute constructively and uphold the standards of the network.

Standards and participation

Are members expected to attend regularly?

Yes. Regular attendance protects momentum, trust, and relationship depth. WLBT is not designed for passive membership.

What are the attendance expectations?

Members are expected to attend 2 in-person meetings per month and 1 online meeting per month. This keeps participation active and opportunities current.

What does active membership mean?

Active membership means the member is approved, current, participating regularly, and maintaining the standards expected inside WLBT.

What happens if a member is not active or current?

Inactive or non-current members may receive reduced access until standing is restored. Expanded opportunities and deeper access are reserved for active members in good standing.

Access and Member Area

What is the difference between the Members page and the Member Area?

The public Members page explains how WLBT membership and access work. The Member Area is gated and intended for approved members with the correct level of access.

What extra access do active members receive?

Active members may receive deeper access to member search, fuller resources, the complete knowledge base, wider content access, and additional member functionality.

Can inactive members still access everything?

No. Members who are not active, current, or in good standing may have limited access until their status is corrected.

Events and contact

Can I attend an event before joining?

Some events or conversations may be open to suitable prospective members, depending on the event format and WLBT approval process.

How do I contact WLBT?

Use the Contact page for direct enquiries, or apply through the Join page if you are ready to start the membership process.

Next step

Still aligned with how WLBT works?

Apply if the standards, participation model, and business-room culture fit how you want to build trusted relationships.
